Brittany Jeanice

Ms. Brittany E. Jeanice is a U.S. Army Veteran with 7 years as an Officer. Ms. Jeanice assumed her current duties as the Human Resources Assistant of the Augusta University Jaguar Battalion in November 2020.

Ms. Jeanice commissioned from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana in 2013 with a Bachelors in Exercise Science.  Commissioned as an Engineer, Ms. Jeanice completed the Basic Officer Leaders Course in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Upon graduation, Ms. Jeanice began her active military career as a Route Clearance Platoon Leader with the 41st Route Clearance Company, 1st Engineer Battalion, at Fort Riley, Kansas. Selected as the first female leader in the Battalion’s history to lead a combat engineer platoon, Ms. Jeanice would serve in the company for two years. From 2015 to 2017, Ms. Jeanice served as a Company Executive Officer and would deploy a 420 manned company throughout the Middle East. Deployed from 2016 -2017, Ms. Jeanice successfully supported 600 personnel for Operation Inherent Resolve and redeployed $70 million dollars of equipment.

Transferring into the Adjutant General Corps, Ms. Jeanice served as the Battalion S1 for the 3rd Battalion, 353rd Regiment at Fort Polk, Louisiana. From 2018- 2020, Ms. Jeanice would serve the Fort Polk area and in 2019, her shop was recognized as the top Human Resources section on Fort Polk. In 2020, Ms. Jeanice earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR). 

Ms. Jeanice’s military includes Engineer Basic Leader’s Course, Master Resiliency Trainer, Urban Mobility Breachers Course, Adjutant General Captain’s Career Course, Unit Movement Operations I and II, and National Training Center Observer/Controller.  Her civilian education also includes a Bachelor’s of Science, Exercise Science, and a Masters of Arts in Human Resources Management. She is currently scheduled to graduate with a Master of Arts in Management and Leadership in Spring 2022.

Her awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, the Noble Patron of Armor, Global War on Terrorism, National Defense Service Medal, Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal- 1OLC, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and the Army Achievement Medal.
