Course: Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR & AED (Adult, Child & Infant)


The Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid course is designed to meet the regulatory and credentialed training requirements for child care workers in all 50 states. This course teaches basic first aid for children such as:

■ What to do when a child or infant has a breathing problem
■ Giving compressions and breaths to an infant or child
■ Stopping bleeding that can be seen

The course also teaches CPR with AED skills for adult, child and infants.

Audience This course is for child care workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth group leaders, coaches and others responsible for children with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid, CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.

Course Length: One session, 6.5 hours

Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certification card valid for two years.
