Clinical Laboratory Science
The courses required to graduate comprise a core divided into six categories (Areas A-F). The options for completing these prerequisites for transfer to Augusta University are listed below.

Notes:
Earned grade of C or better in each courses is required for admission to the Clinical
Lab Science major. Students taking core curriculum will be designated a Pre- Clinical
Lab Science Student. Augusta University students will apply for acceptance into the
Clinical Lab Science major when core curriculum is still in progress. All core must
be complete before beginning the Clinical Lab Science program.
Transfer Students:
If a student has complete Pre- Clinical Lab Science or Clinical Lab Science core areas
from another school in the University System of Georgia, then Augusta University will
accept the areas as satisfied. A student who plans to transfer from a school not in
the University System of Georgia should complete the courses that are equivalent to
the Augusta University core.
Upper division Clinical Lab Science courses from another Clinical Lab Science program
cannot be transferred into the Bachelor of Science in Clinical Lab Science Program.
*WELL 1000 Wellness (2 credit hours) and two Wellness Activity elective courses (2
credit hours) are required for graduation. Exemptions exist for transfer students
with 60 credit hours or more. See: Wellness Requirement
**These courses meet the US and GA legislative requirements for graduation. If taken
at a USG or TCSG institution. See: Legislative Requirements
*** If MATH 1113 Pre-Calculus was not taken in Area A, you must take MATH 1113 in
Area D.
**** If this courses has been taken in another area, any math or science course may
be chosen to fulfill this area
***** If a student transfers less than 30 hours, they should take INQR 1000. If they
transfer more than 30 hours, then an additional credit from AREA D-F, if available,
will fulfill INQR 1000
