She has worked in various student services roles with Augusta University since 2003.  She has previously worked at Florida State University, Savannah College of Art and Design, and the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. Hannah Carley
Hannah Carley

*Study Abroad Advisor*

Hannah Carley started at Augusta University's Study Abroad Office in April 2014. She discovered her love of travel and other cultures during visits to over 17 different countries and through working at the University of Georgia’s Office of International Education. She graduated from UGA with Bachelor's degree in May 2013 and is currently pursing a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration.  She studied abroad twice during her undergraduate career (Switzerland/Scotland and Russia) and once as a staff member with an Augusta University program (Cuba). She only wishes she had planned ahead sooner to study abroad longer. Hannah has experienced the strong impact that her study abroad experiences had on her self-confidence, leadership skills, and worldview and wants to help other students experience it, too.

She is a Psychology major with plans to become a middle school counselor. Sherita’s inspiration to become a guidance counselor came from her rapport with students at both a grade school level and college level.  Her experience traveling and studying abroad can help students make smart choices when planning their own travels abroad. Ashea’ is a Criminal Justice major and Sociology minor here at Augusta University. Eventually she wants to become an officer in the criminal justice field. Ashea’ dreamed of going to Italy ever since she was a little girl. She finally got the chance to live out that dream by studying abroad. Ashea’ really enjoyed her time there and wants to help other students get the chance to experience the same wonderful opportunity.

*Study Abroad Mentors*

Study Abroad Mentors (aka SAMs) are Augusta University students who have been on a study abroad or study away program.
