Laser safety training is provided to educate Augusta University faculty, staff, researchers, students, and visitors to the existence of potentially hazardous levels of radiation and collateral hazards associated with laser use.

The objective is to ensure no exposure above the maximum permissible exposure (MPE) limit reaches the human eyes or skin. Additionally, the program is designed to ensure that adequate protection against collateral hazards is provided.

LASER SAFETY TRAINING IS REQUIRED FOR All USERS OF CLASS 3B AND CLASS 4 LASERS!
