The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism provides the comprehensive evaluation, care, and treatment of hospitalized and ambulatory patients with problems involving endocrinology and metabolism including, but not limited to diabetes mellitus, metabolic bone diseases, adrenal, lipid, pituitary and thyroid disorders.

Our physicians have a broad range of clinical experience with special focus in areas of diabetes, metabolic bone disease and thyroid disease.

■ The AU Diabetes Care Center provides a multidisciplinary approach to the care of the diabetic patient.

■ The Metabolic Bone Disease Center provides care for patients with the full spectrum of bone disorders.

■ Our Clinical Research Programs include new drug therapies for osteoporosis and the impact of new technologies on the management of diabetes.
