Minor in Business Administration


The Hull College of Business offers a minor for students interested in achieving a fundamental understanding of business administration. The minor consists of six (6) courses (18 credit hours).


Minor Coursework

To earn a minor, students must complete the following courses with grades of "C" or better:

Lower Division Courses (9 hours)
  • ACCT 2101 – Prin of Acct I
  • ECON 1810 – Introduction to Economics or
    ECON 2105 – Microeconomics or
    ECON 2106 – Macroeconomics
  • FINC 1410 – Personal Finance or
    MGMT 2106 – Legal and Ethical Environment of Business
Upper Division Courses (9 hours)
  • MGMT 3500 – Management Theory and Practice
  • MKTG 3700 – Principles of Marketing
  • BUSA 4200 – International Business

MGMT 3500 and MKTG 3700 are pre-requisites to BUSA 4200
