I am an Associate Professor in the Adult Body Imaging section and have been Associate Program Director of the radiology residency program for the past 12 years. I have been locally recognized numerous times for teaching medical students and residents and nationally recognized for my work in training residents in professionalism and ethics. I hold joint clinical positions in the Department of Surgery and OB/GYN ONC division. I love being a radiologist!
Teaching all my residents how to approach each patient as if they are family in order to become meticulous and empathetic is my number one interest. Teaching the freshmen radiology residents trauma imaging in preparation for call, teaching the medical students how to successfully prepare their ERAS application, navigate the MATCH process, beginning residency and finally entering the medical field as an attending. I am also always very happy to teach residents from all other services whenever they have questions.
