Bio

Dr. Christopher W. Cutler is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Periodontics and Associate Dean for Research at The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University (formerly Georgia Regents University) Dr. Cutler is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and maintains a Practice Limited to Periodontics at the dental practice group at GRU. Dr. Cutler received his DDS from Emory University in 1986, and completed his Periodontics Certificate and his PhD in Experimental Pathology from Emory University in 1990. Dr Cutler directs an NIH-funded human immunology laboratory at GRU and lectures nationally and internationally on the pathogenesis of periodontal diseases and on how periodontal infection contributes to risk of coronary heart disease and other systemic diseases
